@seanotube85 I have to disagree, Microchip is 1# simply because almost everything else on the list wouldn’t of been possible without it. although lazers can exist without microchips, i’m pretty sure being able to run the fusion power plant would be impossible without them.

@jazzx251 yes he is religious and he actually criticised dawkins and hitchen on the bases of their atheistic views in a statement he made; I personally have a huge respect for this guy when it comes to his field of science but he clearly is incapable of seeing reason when it comes to anything against his views on religion , don’t take it from me if you don’t agree just have look online for his statement.

IF the laser turns out to be the key to nuclear fusion – so that we can say a hearty “FUCK YOU” to the middle east oil barons and never have to be held to ransom by them again – then that’s more important than anything. The oil will run out soon anyway, we need a new supply of power.
